The short version. These terms cover how you use Project Bridge during the founding pilot phase. We provide the platform. Schools control their student data. You agree not to misuse the service. We are not a counselor, lawyer, or financial aid officer, and our outputs do not replace one. The pilot is free of licensing fees. Either side can end the relationship at any time.
1. The agreement
These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and Saka One Enterprises, doing business as Project Bridge (“Project Bridge,” “we,” or “us”). The agreement governs your use of projectbridge.co and any related services we provide.
By creating an account, accepting an invitation from your school, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Who can use the service
Project Bridge is offered to:
- Schools and school districts in the United States that license the platform for their students and counseling staff
- Counselors and administrators employed by or contracted with a participating school
- Students 13 and older rostered by a participating school
We do not currently offer direct consumer signups, parent accounts, or accounts for students who are not enrolled at a participating school. If you are under 13, you may not use the service.
3. School relationship
For students rostered by a participating school, the school is the data controller and we are the service provider. We operate under FERPA's school-official exception. Our obligations to your school are governed by a separate Data Processing Agreement (DPA) signed between Project Bridge and your school.
Your school decides what data to upload, who has access, and when access ends. If you have questions about how your school uses Project Bridge, talk to your counselor or school administrator.
4. Accounts & access
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account
- You must provide accurate information at signup and keep it current
- You may not share your account or transfer it to anyone else
- If you suspect unauthorized access, notify us at security@projectbridge.co immediately
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that put other users at risk
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to harass, harm, or impersonate any person
- Upload content that is unlawful, deceptive, or violates someone else's rights
- Attempt to access another user's account or data without authorization
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without written permission
- Interfere with or disrupt the service, our servers, or our networks
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code, except where law expressly permits it
- Use the service to train a competing AI model or as input to a competing product
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the service without our written consent
6. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you create or upload to Project Bridge (“Your Content”), including stories, brag sheet entries, profile information, and counselor notes.
By using the service, you grant Project Bridge a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, display, and transmit Your Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the service for you and your school. This license ends when you delete the content or close your account, except where we are required by law to retain it.
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content you submit. Do not upload content you do not have the right to share.
7. Our content & intellectual property
Project Bridge owns all rights to the platform, including the software, design, brand, logos, written content, and any AI-generated outputs that are not Your Content. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of our content without our written permission.
The Project Bridge name, logo, and gauge mark are trademarks of Saka One Enterprises. Use of our brand outside of normal product use requires our written consent.
8. AI features
Project Bridge uses AI to help students structure stories, identify gaps, and surface scholarship matches. AI outputs are suggestions, not professional advice. They may contain errors, omissions, or biases. Counselors and students should review AI outputs critically before relying on them for any consequential decision.
We do not use your data to train AI models without your explicit, separate opt-in. Agreeing to these terms does not constitute training opt-in.
Project Bridge is not a college counselor, financial aid officer, lawyer, or licensed advisor of any kind. The service does not replace human counseling, legal advice, or financial advice.
9. Fees & pilot terms
During the founding pilot phase (through Phase 1, August 2026 to October 2026), Project Bridge is provided to participating schools at no licensing cost. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans for future cohorts. Existing pilot schools will receive at least 60 days' notice before any pricing change takes effect.
Pilot participation does not create an obligation to continue the service after the pilot ends. Your school may walk away at the end of the pilot at no cost.
10. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Project Bridge disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not guarantee any specific outcome from using the platform, including admission to a college, receipt of any scholarship, or improvement in any measurable metric.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Project Bridge will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the service.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you or your school paid to us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations. In those jurisdictions, the limitations apply only to the extent permitted.
12. Termination
You can stop using the service at any time. To delete your account, write to privacy@projectbridge.co. If you are a rostered student, your school may also need to be involved depending on their policies.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, if your school ends its agreement with us, or if we discontinue the service. Upon termination, sections of these terms that by their nature should survive will survive (including IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law).
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date and notify users by email at least 14 days before any material change takes effect. Continued use after the change takes effect means you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree, you can close your account before the change takes effect.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
